The Dairy Development Department was established in Tamil Nadu in the year 1958 to oversee and regulate milk production and commercial distribution in the state. The Dairy Development Department took over control of the milk cooperatives. It was replaced by the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited in the year 1981. On February 1, 1981, the commercial activities of the cooperative were handed over to Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited which sold milk and milk products under the trademark “aavin”. Tamil Nadu is one of the leading states in India in milk production with about 14.5 million liters per day.

Tamilnadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited (AAVIN Milk) has released notification for filling up 19 vacancies for the post of Driver, Extension Officer & Various Post.

Eligibility : –

• Manager(Accounts) – Must possess Degree with CA Inter / ICWA Inter.
• Manager (Engg.) – Must possess a Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation / Electronics and Communication / Automobile / Mechanical Engineering from recognized University.
• Deputy Manager (Dairying) – Must possess Degree with IDD / NDD or post Graduate Degree in Dairy Science / Dairying or B.Tech. in food Technology / Dairy Technology / Food processing from any approved institutions
• Deputy Manager (System) – Must possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Information Technology) / (Computer Science) / Master of Computer Applications from a recognized University.
• Deputy Manager (Civil) – Must possess bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Extension Officer Grade – II – Must be a graduate in any discipline and have passed in Cooperative Training and completion of 10 years of service in MPCS.
• Technician (Boiler) – Pass in VIII Std and Must possess Boiler Attendant Certificate Gr.II / Gr.III issued by the Director of Boiler, Chennai to operate boilers as per the norms prescribed by the authority.
• Technician (Refrigeration) – Pass in SSLC, or its equivalent and ITI Certificate in Refrigeration & Air conditioner Mechanic with NTC (or) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Factory Assistant – Must have passed 10+2
• Drivers – Must have passed VIII std., or its equivalent. Must be in possession of valid Driving License to drive Heavy Vehicles. Must possess a minimum 3 years’ experience as Heavy Vehicle Driver. For more details Read Official Notification.
