Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) came into existence from 1st April 1949 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 261 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted. Its constitutional status was pronounced with the promulgation of Constitution of India on 26th January, 1950. It is a Constitutional Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released notification for filling up 170461 vacancies for the post of TGT, PGT & Primary Teacher.

Bihar School Teacher Vacancy Details : –

• Primary Teacher – 79943 Posts
• TGT Teacher – 32916 Posts
• PGT Teacher – 57602 Posts

BPSC Selection Process will be based on Written Exam.

Eligibility : –
Primary Teacher –

• Bachelor Degree with 50% Marks and B.Ed Degree.
• 10+2 Inter with 50% Marks with 4 Year BLEd Degree.

TGT Teacher –

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Related Subject with Minimum 50% Marks and B.Ed Degree.
• 4 Year Degree in BAEd / BScEd.
• STET Paper I Exam Passed.

PGT Teacher –

• Master Degree in Related Subject with Minimum 50% Marks and B.Ed Degree.
• Master Degree in Related Subject with 4 Year Degree in BAEd / BScEd.
