Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed when the state of Andhra Pradesh formed on 1 November 1956. Earlier, the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission (formed in 1953) which is based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. Later in 1956, APPSC was formed by merging the Andhra Public Service Commission and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions.

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released notification for filling up 38 vacancies for the post of Assistant Public Relation Officer, Assistant Statistical Officers & Various Post.

APPSC Vacancy Details : –

• Assistant Public Relation Officer in A.P. Information Subordinate Service – 06 Posts
• Assistant Statistical Officers In A.P Economics & Statistical Sub Service – 29 Posts
• Food Safety Officer in A.P Institute of Preventive Medicine, Public Health Laboratories and Food (health) Administration Subordinate Service – 01 Post
• Hostel Welfare Officer Grade –II (Women) in A.P.B.C. Welfare Sub Service – 02 Post

APPSC Selection Process will be based on written exam & computer based test.

• Assistant Public Relation Officer in A.P. Information Subordinate Service – Pay scale Rs. 25,140/- to 73,270/-
• Assistant Statistical Officers In A.P Economics & Statistical Sub Service – Pay scale Rs. 24,440/- to 71,510/-
• Food Safety Officer in A.P Institute of Preventive Medicine, Public Health Laboratories and
• Food (health) Administration Subordinate Service – Pay scale Rs. 28,940/- to 78,910/-
• Hostel Welfare Officer Grade –II (Women) in A.P.B.C. Welfare Sub Service – Pay scale Rs. 24,440/- to 71,510/-

Eligibility : –

• Assistant Public Relation Officer – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a Degree or Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations from any University in India established.
• Assistant Statistical Officers – Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Commerce or Computer science From a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or State Act or such institutions.
• Food Safety Officer – Degree in Food or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio – Chemistry or Microbiology or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University, any other equivalent / recognized qualification notified by the Central Government
• Hostel Welfare Officer Grade –II – Graduation with B.Ed, or equivalent of any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act or State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 42 years As on 01/07/2021. (Read Official Notification)

All Other Candidates –

• Processing fee – Rs. 250/-
