Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will hold the Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2018 for screening candidates for the Main Examination for recruitment to the services/posts as per the actual number of vacancies as shown below, in accordance with the Assam Public Services Combined Competitive Examination Rules, 1989

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released notification for filling up 577 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer, Assistant Engineer & Assistant Architect.

APSC Vacancy Details : –

• Junior Engineer (JE) Civil – 344 Posts
• Assistant Engineer (AE) Civil – 222 Posts
• Assistant Architect – 11 Posts

APSC Selection Process will be based on Written Exam and Interview.

• Junior Engineer – Pay scale Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-
• Assistant Engineer – Pay scale Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/-
• Assistant Architect – Pay scale Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• JE – 3 years Diploma course in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by the Government.
• AE – Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an Indian or foreign University recognized by Government.
• Assistant Architect – Bachelors Degree in Architecture from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 21 to 38 years As on 01/01/2020. (Read Official Notification)

• SC/ST/OBC/ MOBC – Rs. 150/-
