National Institute of Siddha is an institute for study and research of Siddha medicine. It was established in 2005 at Tambaram, Chennai, India. It is one of the eight national institutes established across nation, for training and research in “Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy education”, by Department of AYUSH, Government of India.

Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) has released notification for filling up 04 vacancies for the post of Research Officer, Siddha Pharmacist & Therapist.

CCRS Vacancy Details : –

• Research Officer (Siddha) (Group- A) – 02 Post
• Siddha Pharmacist (Group- C) – 01 Post
• Therapist (Siddha) (Group- C) – 01 Post

CCRS Selection Process will be based on Written Test/Interview.

Eligibility : –

• Research Officer (Siddha) (Group- A) – Post graduate degree in Siddha system of medicine from a CCIM recognized Institution and Enrolment in the Central/State Register of Indian Medicine/Siddha as the case may be.
• Siddha Pharmacist (Group- C) – 12th Class or equivalent qualification with Science subjects from a recognized Board or University and Diploma in Integrated Pharmacy of two years duration conducted by a recognized Board/University/Institution with Siddha as one of the subjects (or) Diploma in Siddha Pharmacy of two years duration conducted by a recognized Board/University/Institution.
• Therapist (Siddha) (Group- C) – 12th Class or equivalent qualification with Science subjects from a recognized Board or University and Diploma in Nursing therapy (in Indian system of Medicine) of minimum two years duration, with Siddha as one of the subjects, conducted by a recognized Board/University/Institution. Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 40 years As on 19/01/2021. (Read Official Notification)

• All Other Candidates – No Fee
