Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of MaharashtraAnimal husbandry is the branch of agriculture concerned with animals that are raised for meat, fibre, milk, eggs, or other products. It includes day-to-day care, selective breeding and the raising of livestock. Husbandry has a long history, starting with the Neolithic revolution when animals were first domesticated, from around 13,000 BC onwards, antedating farming of the first crops. By the time of early civilizations such as ancient Egypt, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs were being raised on farms.

Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Maharashtra has released notification for filling up 729 vacancies for the post of Livestock Supervisor & Parichar.

Livestock Supervoiser – Pay scale Rs. 5,200/- to 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Parichar – Pay scale Rs. 4,440/- to 7,440/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1300/- (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : – Applicants who have completed Std 8th or Std. 10th or equivalent and MS-CIT exam pass. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 28 to 38 years. (Read Official Notification)
