Department of Higher Education is the department under Ministry of Human Resource Development, that oversees higher education in India. The department is empowered to grant deemed university status to educational institutions on the advice of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.

Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa has released notification for filling up 127 vacancies for the post of LDC, MTS, Steno & Various Posts.

DHE Vacancy Details : –
Auditor – 08 Posts
Jr. Stenographer – 10 Posts
Lower Division Clerk – 40 Posts
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – 69 Posts

DHE Selection Process will be based on Written Exam/ Skill Test.

Eligibility : –
Auditor –
(i) Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with Accountancy and Auditing.
(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Jr. Stenographer –
(1) Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
(2) Should be Computer Literate.
(3) Speed of 100 words per minute in Short Hand and 35 words per minute in typewriting.
(4) Knowledge of Konkani.
Lower Division Clerk –
(1) Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma awarded by a recognized State Board of Technical Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
(2) Should be Computer Literate.
(3) Knowledge of Konkani.
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) –
Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/Institution. OR Passed Course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant Trade, from a recognized Institution. For more details Read Official Notification.
