The Indian Armed Forces (including Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy) and Indian Coast Guard under the Ministry of Defence are primarily responsible for ensuring the territorial integrity of India.

Ministry of Defence has released notification for filling up 458 vacancies for the post of Tradesman Mate, JOA, MA, MTS & Fireman.

Ministry of Defence Vacancy Details : –

• Tradesmen Mate (Erstwhile Mazdoor) – 330 Posts
• JOA (Erstwhile LDC) – 20 Posts
• Material Assistant (MA) – 19 Posts
• MTS – 11 Posts
• Fireman – 64 Posts
• 255 (I) ABOU Tradesman Mate – 14 Posts

Ministry of Defence Selection Process will be based on practical / trade / physical tests & Written Test.

• Material Assistant (MA) – Pay scale Rs. 29,200/- to 92,300/- Level-5
• MTS – Pay scale Rs. 18,000/- to 56,900/- Level-1
• Fireman – Pay scale Rs. 19,900/- to 63,200/- Level-2
• 255 (I) ABOU Tradesman Mate – Pay scale Rs. 18,000/- to 56,900/- Level-1 (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• Tradesmen Mate – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised board.
• JOA – 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
• Material Assistant – Graduate or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized university or Diploma in Material Management from a recognized University/ organisation.
• MTS – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised board.
