Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI) is a ministry of the Government of India responsible for formulation and administration of the rules and regulations and laws relating to food processing in India. The ministry was set up in the year 1988, with a view to develop a strong and vibrant food processing industry, to create increased employment in rural sector and enable farmers to reap the benefits of modern technology and to create a surplus for exports and stimulating demand for processed food. The ministry is currently headed by Pashupati Kumar Paras, a Cabinet Minister.

- Lead Project Manager – State Programme – Retired General Manager or above level, with experience in Credit for Govt. sponsored Schemes at various levels, of a Public Sector scheduled Commercial Bank. Working as Lead District or State Manager would add to relevant experience.
- Lead Project Manager (Capacity Building) – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 15 years experience and Serving officer/Retired officer from Government Training institutions or Corporates.
- Lead Project Manager Planning – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 15 years experience and MBA/ PGDM Finance and Experience in Managing Financial aspects of Development Projects.
- Lead Project Manager Knowledge Management – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 15 years experience and MBA/Master’s degree in Public Administration or Rural Development or Economics/PGDM with specialization in Agri./Food Business or Rural Management and Experience in Coordination with State Governments/ strengthening partnership with various stakeholders (government and non government).
- Lead Project Manager – Branding & Marketing – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 15 years experience and PG Degree in Marketing Management or Agri Marketing or Rural Management with specialization in marketing or MBA Marketing and Sales and Experience in Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain, Branding and Marketing, Advertising, Commodity Trading.
- Manager – State Programme – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and MBA/PGDM (Finance)/PGDM with specialization in Agri./Food Business or Rural Management/Masters in Rural Management, Agri-Business Management and Banking Experience/Experience in appraisal of projects.
- Manager, Capacity Building – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and Experience of working in IT platform in the relevant or related field.
- Manager, Planning – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and MBA/ PGDM Finance and Experience in Managing Financial aspects of Development Projects.
- Manager, Knowledge Management – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and MBA / Master’s degree in Public Administration or Rural Development or Economics/PGDM with specialization in Agri. / Food Business or Rural Management and Experience in Coordination with State Governments/ strengthening partnership with various stakeholders (government and non government).
- Manager – Branding & Marketing – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and PG Degree in Marketing Management or Agri Marketing or Rural Management and Experience in Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain, Branding and Marketing, Advertising, Commodity Trading.
- Manager, MIS – MCA/M.Sc Systems or System Management/M.Sc (IT)/MS Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Minimum 5 years experience and Experience in MIS system design/Implementation of Information System.
- Financial & Micro Credit Manager – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and MBA/PGDM (Finance) and Appraisal of Business Plan of Micro Enterprises and financing MSMEs.
- Communication Manager – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and PGD/ Master’s degree in Mass Communication/Journalism and Experience in planning & overseeing IEC campaign.
- Food Technologist – Graduation Or Minimum 5 years experience and Graduation in Food Technology/Food Engineering /Post Harvest Engineering/Food Safety and Quality Assurance and Experience in Capacity Building of Food Entrepreneurs/Food processing units. Ability to prepare/review the training material for Capacity Building of Micro Enterprises etc. under the Scheme.
- Food Technologist – Master degree Or Minimum 5 years experience and Graduation in Food Technology/Food Engineering/Post Harvest Engineering/Food Safety and Quality Assurance and Experience in Food Processing Industries (preferably to Micro Enterprises) in the areas of technology upgradation, new product development, quality assurance, food safety management.
- Manager – Enterprise Development – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and MBA/Master’s degree in Public Administration or Rural Development or Economics/PGDM with specialization in Agri./Food Business or Rural Management and Experience in development of clusters, organization of FPO, branding & marketing of produce of MSME.
- Manager – Monitoring & Evaluation – PGD/Master’s Degree and Minimum 05 years experience and Master’s degree in Economics/Statistics/Data Analytics and Experience in monitoring or data analytics on development programme.
- Consultant Joint Secretary/Dir. level retired officer – Having experience in matters relating to Establishment, General Administration, Procurement & payment etc. from central/state government.
Consultant Pay & Accounts level retired Officer – Having experience in Budget, Finance & PAO works. Should have understanding Centrally sponsored Schemes and hands on in PFMS (Public Financial Management System). - Young Professional – Media & PR – PGD/Master’s Degree Or Minimum 1 years experience and PGD/ Master’s degree in Mass Communication/Journalism.
