Kolkata Municipal Service Commission has been entrusted with the important work of recruitment of employees for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The process for recruitment involves advertisement in the National Dailies for the posts, conduct of examination, interview and recommendation to the Corporation. The Municipal Service Commission takes appropriate steps for the conduct of the recruitment process ensuring the quality and standard needed for the post. Municipal Service Commission West Bengal (MSCWB) has released notification for filling up 08 vacancies for the post of LDC, AE, Draftsman, Surveyor & Various Post.

• Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 01 Post
• Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 01 Post
• Surveyor – 01 Post
• Draftsman – 01 Post
• Work Assistant – 01 Post
• Lower Division Clerk – 02 Post
• Assistant Town Planner – 01 Post

MSCWB Selection Process will be based on personality test or interview.

Eligibility : –

• Assistant Engineer (Civil) – B.Tech from a recognized university or institute.
• Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil) – Diploma in civil engineering.
• Surveyor – Higher secondary with certificate in survey or diploma in survey or diploma in civil engineering.
• Draftsman – Higher secondary with diploma in architecture or civil draftsmanship.
• Work Assistant – 10th with certificate course on computer applications.
• Lower Division Clerk – 10th with certificate course on computer applications.
• Assistant Town Planner – Post graduate degree in planner with 1-4 years experience in the field of urban or regional planning. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 40 years. (Read Official Notification)
