NABARD The importance of institutional credit in boosting rural economy has been clear to the Government of India right from its early stages of planning. Therefore, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at the insistence of the Government of India, constituted a Committee to Review the Arrangements For Institutional Credit for Agriculture and Rural Development (CRAFICARD) to look into these very critical aspects. The Committee was formed on 30 March 1979, under the Chairmanship of Shri B. Sivaraman, former member of Planning Commission, Government of India.

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has released notification for filling up 162 vacancies for the post of Assistant Manager (Grade A) & Manager (Grade B).

NABARD Vacancy Details : –

• Assistant Manager in Grade A (RDBS) – 148 Posts
• Assistant Manager in Grade A (Rajbjasha Service) – 05 Posts
• Assistant Manager in Grade A (Protocol and Security Service) – 02 Post
• Manager Grade B (Rural Development Banking Service) – 07 Posts

NABARD Selection Process will be based on Online Preliminary Exam, Online Main Exam & Interview.

• Assistant Manager in Grade A (RDBS) – Pay scale Rs. 28,150/- to 55,600/-
• Assistant Manager in Grade A (Rajbjasha Service) – Pay scale Rs. 28,150/- to 55,600/-
• Assistant Manager in Grade A (Protocol and Security Service) – Pay scale Rs. 28,150/- to 55,600/-
• Manager Grade B (Rural Development Banking Service) – Pay scale Rs. 35,150/- Per Month. (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• RDBS – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks OR or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks OR Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary OR Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree.
• Rajbjasha Service – Bachelor’s Degree in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks and Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa.
• Protocol and Security Service – Bachelor Degree with 5 Year Service in Army / Navy / Air force.
• Grade B (RDBS) – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/ PWBD applicants 55%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants 50%) in aggregate from a recognized university or Ph.D. For more details Read Official Notification.
