The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., based in Mumbai, Maharashtra is a nationalised general insurance company. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Finance , Government of India. “It is the largest nationalised general insurance company of India on the basis of gross premium collection inclusive of foreign operations”. It was founded by Sir Dorabji Tata in 1919, and was nationalized in 1973.

New India Assurance Company Ltd. (NIACL) has released notification for filling up 450 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer (AO).

• Risk Engineer – 36 Posts
• Automobile Engineer – 96 Posts
• Legal – 70 Posts
• Accounts – 30 Posts
• Health – 75 Posts
• IT – 23 Posts

NIACL Selection Process will be based on Preliminary Online Test, Online Main Exam (Objective + Descriptive) & Interview.

Eligibility : –

• Generalist – Bachelor / Master Degree in Any Stream from Any Recognized University in India.
• Risk Engineer – BE / B.Tech / Master Degree in Engineering with 60% Marks (55% for SC / ST / PH).
• Automobile Engineer – BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Automobile Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering (Graduation / Post Graduation).
• Legal – Bachelor / Master Degree in Law with 60% Marks (55% for SC / ST / PH).
• Accounts – Bachelor / Master Degree in Any Stream with 60% Marks (55% for SC / ST / PH) OR Chartered Accountant.
• Health – MBBS / MD / MS / PG Medical Degree / BDS / MDS / BAMS / BHMS.
