Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana is largest agriculture university in Asia.[citation needed] It is a state agricultural university in India. It was established in 1962 and is the nation’s third-oldest agricultural university, after Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneshwar. It was formally inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on July 8, 1963. PAU pioneered the Green Revolution in India in the 1960.

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has released notification for filling up 01 vacancy for the post of Senior Technical Assistant.

PAU Selection Process will be based on Interview.

Eligibility : – At least 2nd class Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural/Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with three years experience in the filled of Farm Machinery & Power Engineering. OR M.Tech in FMPE/ME alongwith B.Tech (Agril. Engineering) OR Three year Diploma in above Branches of Engineering with six years experience in the field of Farm Machinery & Power Engineering Matric Level certificate of Local/Regional Language i.e. Punjabi from any recognized Board of Education.
