It is seated at Dehradun, the winter capital, and Gairsain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand. The total strength of the assembly is 70 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).

Eligibility : –

• Reporter – Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India. and Hindi Stenographer 140 WPM & English 100 WPM.
• Additional Private Secretary (APS) – Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India and Hindi Stenographer 80 WPM.
• Review Officer (RO) – Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.
• Review Officer (RO-Account) – Bachelor Degree in Commerce (B.Com) in Any Recognized University in India.
• Assistant Review Officer (Research & Reference) – Post Graduate Degree in Literature OR Social Science Any Recognized University in India.
• Administrator – 3 years Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Accountant & Assistant Accountant – Bachelor Degree in Commerce (B.Com) in Any Recognized University in India.
• Assistant Foreman – Passed 10th class with ITI Certificate in Mechanical / Civil / Electronics / Electrician / Fitter / Computer / Machinist.
• Solicitor – Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Diploma in Library Science OR 3 Year Experience.
• Computer Operator & Computer Assistant – Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) class in Any Recognized Board with Typing speed 4000 Key Depression Per Hour in Hindi on Computer.
• Driver – Passed 10th (High School) class with Light & Heavy Vehicle Driving License (5 Year Old).
• Guard Male & Guard Female – Passed 10th (High School) class in Any Recognized Board. For more details Read Official Notification.
