Like five other All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), it was established in 2012 and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Jodhpur) has released notification for filling up 84 vacancies for the post of Professor, Additional Professor & Various Post.

AIIMS Jodhpur Vacancy Details : –

• Professor – 31 Posts
• Additional Professor – 14 Posts
• Associate Professor – 24 Posts
• Assistant Professor – 15 Posts

Eligibility : –

• Professor – A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical council Act of 1956 And post graduate qualification MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject and 14 years teaching and/or research experience.
• Additional Professor – A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical council Act of 1956 And post graduate qualification MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject and M.Ch for surgical super-specialties and D.M for Medical super specialties (2 years to 6 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• Associate Professor – A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical council Act of 1956 And post graduate qualification MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
• Assistant Professor – A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 And post graduate qualification MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject and D.M in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialties and M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super-specialties 2 years to 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
