University of Allahabad, informally known as Allahabad University, is a public central university located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established on 23 September 1887, it is the fourth oldest modern university in India. Its origins lie in the Muir Central College, named after Lt. Governor of North-Western Provinces, Sir William Muir in 1876, who suggested the idea of a Central University at Allahabad, which later evolved to the present university.

Allahabad University has released notification for filling up 361 vacancies for the post of Junior Office Assistant, MTS, Data Entry Operator (DEO), Laboratory Attendant, Laboratory Assistant, Library Attendant, Stenographer & Various Posts.

Eligibility : –

• Animal Attendant – Higher Secondary (12th Standard) Or Equivalent Examination with science subject and at least 02 years of experience of work in laboratory.
• Assistant Draftsman – Diploma in Drafting / Architecture with 55% from recognized Institution.
• Boatman/Groundsman/Waterman – 10th pass or equivalent in the relevant subject may be prescribed as the minimum qualification.
• Data Entry Operator – BCA or Graduation with PGDCA or B.Sc in Computer CS./Engg/IT or BBA in IT and working knowledge of office assistant tools like MS Office or open Office etc., Also ‘O’ level of DOEACC after Graduation from a recognized University and Having typing speed of 40 words per minute in English in Computer.
• Draftsman – Diploma in Architecture or ITI Diploma in Draftsman (Civil) with at least 55% marks and 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Driver – Matriculate or equivalent with Valid Driving License for Light / Medium / Heavy Vehicles and Should have at least 3 years.
• Hindi Typist – 12th Pass and Having typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
• Junior Office Assistant – Graduate with 50% marks and Having a typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through computers.
• Laboratory Assistant – Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry Zoology Botany, Psychology Computer Science/Computer Application, Defence studies, Statistics, Home Science subject and Having a typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English through computers.
• Laboratory Attendant – Higher Secondary (12th Standard) Or Equivalent Examination with science subject and at least 02 years of experience of work in laboratory.
• Library Attendant – Higher Secondary (12th Standard) Or Equivalent Examination and Diploma/Certificate course in library science.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Matriculation or equivalent or ITI Pass.
• Pharmacist – Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and 10+2 plus 02 years Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Semi-Professional Assistant – B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks.
• Sick Attendant – Matriculation or equivalent pass.
• Stenographer – Graduate in any discipline with English Typewriting (40 WPM) and English Stenography (40 WPM) and 2 years Experience.
• Technical Assistant – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/ MSc (Networking) B.Sc. with First Class (60% of marks) in concerned subject (IT/Computer Application /Computer Science/ Chemistry Physics / Zoology / Botany/ Life Science and 3years’ experience.
• Wire-Man – Certificate course in Electrical Trade from recognized ITI or Wireman course or Electrical Inspector course from recognized ITI.
