Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed when the state of Andhra Pradesh formed on 1 November 1956. Earlier, the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission (formed in 1953) which is based on the regulations of Madras Public Service Commission. Later in 1956, APPSC was formed by merging the Andhra Public Service Commission and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions.

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released notification for filling up 151 vacancies for the post of Medical Officers (Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and UNANI).

APPSC Vacancy Details : –

• Medical Officer (Ayurveda) – 72 Posts
• Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) – 53 Posts
• Medical Officer (Unani) – 26 Posts

APPSC Selection Process will be based on written Exam (computer based test).

Eligibility : –

• Medical Officer (Ayurveda) – Degree in Ayurveda and Must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner in the concerned field.
• Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) – Degree in Homoeopathy and Must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner in the concerned field.
• Medical Officer (Unani) – Degree in Unani and Must be a permanent Registered Medical Practitioner in the concerned field. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 42 years As on 01/07/2021. (Read Official Notification)

Application Fees : –

• All Others Candidates – Rs. 500/-
• SC / ST / BC/ PH / Ex-Service Man Candidates – Rs. 120/-
