Assam Police is the law enforcement agency for the state of Assam in India. A regular police force was initiated in Assam by the British after the Treaty of Yandaboo to maintain the law and order. State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam Police has released notification for filling up 131 vacancies for the post of Extension Officer, Junior Assistant & Various Posts.

• Extension Officer (Industries) – 87 Posts
• Economic Investigator (E.I.) – 24 Posts
• Junior Assistant (HQ) – 16 Posts
• Stenographer III (HQ) – 04 Posts

Assam Police Selection Process will be based on Written Test & Skill Test.

Eligibility : –

• Extension Officer – Three years Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical /Civil/Textile/Computer/Plastic Processing / Food processing / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Technology.
• Economic Investigator – Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with Economics / Statistics as one of the subject.
• Junior Assistant – Graduate in Arts/Science/ Commerce and Diploma in Computer.
• Stenographer-III – Graduate in Arts/Science/ Commerce and National Trade Certificate in Stenography from ITI with 80 words per minutes. For more details Read Official Notification.
