Border Security Force (BSF) is the primary border defence organisation of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India, it was raised in the wake of the 1965 War on 1 December 1965, “for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected there with”. It is a Central Armed Police Force charged with guarding India’s land border during peacetime and preventing transnational crime.

Border Security Force (BSF) has released notification for filling up 1312 vacancies for the post of Head Constable (Radio Operator) & Head Constable (Radio Mechanic).

BSF Vacancy Details : –

• Head Constable (Radio Operator) – 982 Posts
• Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) – 330 Posts

BSF Selection Process will be based on Written Exam, Skill Test, Checking of Testimonials / documents, Measurement of Physical Standard (PST) & Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

• HC (RO) – 10th or Matriculation pass and ITI certificate in Radio & Television or Electronics or COPA or Date Preparation & Computer Software or General Electronics or Date Entry Operator OR 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks.
• HC (RM) – 10th or Matriculation pass and ITI certificate in Radio & Television or Electronics or Fitter or COPA or Date Preparation & Computer Software or General Electronics or Computer Hardware or Network Technician or Date Entry Operator OR 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks.
