Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released notification for filling up 232 vacancies for the post of Stenographer & Instructor Stenographer.

• General (UR) – 37 Posts
• EWS – 08 Posts
• BC – 40 Posts
• EBC – 66 Posts
• BC Female – 13 Posts
• SC – 64 Posts
• ST – 04 Posts

BSSC Selection Process will be based on Written Exam.

• 10+2 Intermediate Exam in Any Recognized Board in India.
• Stenographer with Computer English Typing / Computer Basic Word Processing Knowledge.

Instructor Stenographer –

• 10+2 Intermediate Exam in Any Recognized Board in India.
• Maulvi Certificate, ITI / NCVT Certificate, Engineering Polytechnic Diploma. For more details Read Official Notification.
