Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission.

Himachal Public Service commission (HPPSC) has released notification for filling up 02 vacancy for the post of Senior Scale Stenographer.

HPPSC Selection Process will be based on Written examination & Skill Test.

Eligibility : – Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University and Must possess the following speed in shorthand and typing on Computers in both languages. Speed in Shorthand: English : – 100 WPM Hindi :- 80 WPM Speed in typing on Computer: English : – 40 WPM, Hindi:- 30 WPM. For more details Read Official Notification.
