HPPSC Recruitment 2022 – Apply for 20 Clerk Post

Himachal Pradesh attained statehood on 25th January, 1971. Prior to this date, the function of Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It was, therefore, incumbent on the State to have its own Public Service Commission.

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released notification for filling up 20 vacancies for the post of Clerk.

HPPSC Selection Process will be based on Written Exam, Skill Test & Evaluation of 15 Marks.

Eligibility : – Graduation Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University having five (05) years regular service OR regular combined with continuous service rendered on adhoc/daily wage/contract basis, failing which by direct recruitment on a regular basis or by recruitment on contract basis, as the case may be. The eligible Class-IV officials will also qualify the typing test with the minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting OR 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting.
