ISI Kolkata Recruitment 2020 – Apply for Multitasking Staff (MTS) Post

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is an academic institute of national importance as recognised by a 1959 act of the Indian parliament. It grew out of the Statistical Laboratory set up by Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in Presidency College, Kolkata. Established in 1931, this public university of India is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions focused on statistics, and its early reputation led it to being adopted as a model for the first US institute of Statistics set up at the Research Triangle, North Carolina by Gertrude Mary Cox.

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI Kolkata) has released notification for filling up 16 vacancies for the post of MTS (Electrician, Electrical Attendant, Operator-Cum-Mechanic, LIFT).

ISI Kolkata Selection Process will be based on Written Test/Skill Test.

Salary : –

• MTS (Electrician) – Pay scale Rs. 20,000/- to 22,000/-
• MTS (Electrical Attendant) – Pay scale Rs. 18,000/- to 20,000/-
• MTS (Operator-Cum-Mechanic, LIFT) – Pay scale Rs. 20,000/- to 22,000/- (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : – School Final or equivalent and National Trade Certificate (NTC)/ (2 years ITI passed out), (Electrician or Wire man) or equivalent in relevant trade from a Government recognized Institute. For more details Read Official Notification.
