Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has been constitued by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act 2008 (Jharkhand Act 16, 2008) and it has been published vide Gazette notification no. 829 dt. 6 December 2008 of Jharkhand Governmet. Jharkhand Act 2008 has been amended by Jharkhand Act 03,2011 and Jharkhand Act 19,2011; published vide Gazette notification nos. 153 dt. 24 February 2011 and 687 dt. 11 October 2011 respectively.

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released notification for filling up 991 vacancies for the post of Lower Division Clerk, Clerk & Stenographer/Personal Assistant.

JSSC Vacancy Details : –

• Lower Division Clerk (Regular) – 855 Posts
• Clerk (Regular) – 104 Posts
• Stenographer/Personal Assistant (Regular) – 27 Posts
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Backlog – 05 Posts

JSSC Selection Process will be based on OMR Based Written Test.

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – Pay scale Rs. 19,900/- to 63,200/- Level-2
• Stenographer/Personal Assistant – Pay scale Rs. 25,500/- to 81,100/- Level-4 (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• LDC, Clerk – 12th (Intermediate) Exam Passed from recognized Board and typing speed in Hindi 25 wpm on Computer.
• Stenographer – 12th (Intermediate) Exam Passed from recognized Board and Steno speed 80 wpm and typing speed in Hindi 30 wpm on Computer. For more details Read Official Notification.
