Madras High Court is the high court of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The court is one of the three High Courts in India established in the three Presidency Towns of Bombay, Calcutta and Madras by letters patent granted by Queen Victoria, bearing date 26 June 1862. It exercises original jurisdiction over the city of Chennai and appellate jurisdiction over the entire state of Tamil Nadu and Union territory of Puducherry, as well as extraordinary original jurisdiction, civil and criminal, under the letters patent and special original jurisdiction for the issue of writs under the Constitution of India.

Madras High Court (MHC) has released notification for filling up 77 vacancies for the post of Personal Assistant & Personal Clerk.

Madras High Court Vacancy Details : –

• Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judges – 66 Posts
• Personal Assistant (to the Registrars) – 08 Posts
• Personal Clerk (to the Deputy Registrars) – 03 Posts

Madras High Court (MHC) Selection Process will be based on Skill Test (Short-hand dictation) and Interview.

• Personal Assistant (to the Registrars) – Pay scale Rs. 36,400/- to 1,15,700/- Level-16
• Personal Clerk (to the Deputy Registrars) – Pay scale Rs. 20,600/- to 65,500/- Level-10 (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : – Any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine, or any other discipline and passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand and Typewriting in English/Tamil in Higher/Senior Grade. For more details Read Official Notification.
