Punjab Police (PP) is the police agency responsible for law enforcement and investigations within the state of Punjab, India. Punjab Police has a broad array of specialized services, including the prevention and detection of crime, maintenance of law and order and the enforcement of the Constitution of India. Its headquarters are located at Jan Marg, Chandigarh.

Punjab Police has released notification for filling up 1191 vacancies for the post of Intelligence Assistants & Constable.

Punjab Police Vacancy Details : –

• Intelligence Assistants (in the rank of Constable) – 818 Posts
• Constable (Investigation Cadre) – 373 Posts

Punjab Police Selection Process will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Scrutiny, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST).

Eligibility : –

• Intelligence Assistant – Graduate from a recognized University or Institution and candidate shall also possess an ‘O’ Level Certificate of (NIELIT) (earlier called as DOEACC) OR B.Sc/B.Tech/BE in CS, IT, Computer Application OR BCA OR PGDCA.
• Constable (PBI) – Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university, or its equivalent. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 21 to 28 years As on 01/01/2021. (Read Official Notification)

• Ex-Servicemen(ESM) – Rs. 400/-
• EWS/SC/ST and Backward Classes of Punjab State only – Rs. 550/-
