Uttar Pradesh Police is the law enforcement agency of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh headquartered in Allahabad. The Uttar Pradesh Police is headed by Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Jagmohan Yadav (IPS) of 1983 Batch. UP Police is the largest police force in the world working under a single command. It was formed in 1863 as the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Uttar Pradesh under the Police Act of 1861.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) UP Police has released notification for filling up 1369 vacancies for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk/Account) & Sub Inspector (Confidential).

UPPRPB Vacancy Details : –

• Sub Inspector (SI – Confidential) – 327 Posts
• Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI – Clerk) – 684 Posts
• Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI – Account) – 358 Posts

UPPRPB Selection Process will be based on Online Examination, Documentation & Physical Standard Test (PST) & Skill Test.

Eligibility : –
Sub Inspector (SI) – Confidential –

• Graduate Degree in any Discipline form recognized University.
• Hindi Typing 25 WPM & English Typing 30 WPM
• Stenographer Hindi : 80 WPM
• O Level Certificate or equivalent Certificate.

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) -Clerk –

• Graduate Degree in any Discipline form recognized University.
• Hindi Typing 25 WPM & English Typing 30 WPM
• O Level Certificate or equivalent Certificate.

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) – Account –

• Graduate Degree in Commerce (B.Com) form recognized University.
• Hindi Typing 15 WPM.
