Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC) is a research and development unit of the Department of Atomic Energy. The VECC is located in Kolkata, India and performs research in basic and applied nuclear sciences and development of the latest nuclear particle accelerators. It has a collaboration with the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC) has released notification for filling up 40 vacancies for the post of Stipendiary Trainee.

VECC Selection Process will be based on Written Test & Skill Test/Interview.

Salary : –

• Stipendiary Trainee category I – Pay scale Rs. 16,000/- Per Month.
• Stipendiary Trainee category II – Pay scale Rs. 10,500/- Per Month. (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –
Stipendiary Trainee category II –

• Class 10th with Science and Maths OR Class 12th with PCM and 60% Marks
• ITI Certificate in Draughtsman Mechanical / Electrician / Electronic Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Plumber / Carpenter / Mason / Refrigeration / AC / Plant Operator / Welder / Lab Assistant.

Stipendiary Trainee category I –

• Diploma in Civil/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering OR B.Sc in Physics Subject. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 24 years As on 20/05/2021. (Read Official Notification)

• Stipendiary Trainee category I – Rs. 150/-
• Stipendiary Trainee category II – Rs. 100/-
• SC/ST/Female/PWD – No Fee
