Border Roads Organisation (BRO) develops and maintains road networks in India’s border areas and friendly neighboring countries. Officers from the Border Roads Engineering Service (BRES) and personnel from the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) form the parent cadre of the Border Roads Organisation. It is also staffed by officers and troops drawn from the Indian Army’s Corps of Engineers on extra regimental employment (on Deputation). Currently, the organisation maintains operations in twenty-one states, one UT (Andaman and Nicobar Islands), and neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka.

Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has released notification for filling up 876 vacancies for the post of Store Keeper Technical (SKT) & Multi Skilled Worker (Driver Engine Static).

• Store Keeper Technical – 377 Posts
• Multi Skilled Worker (Driver Engine Static) – 499 Posts

BRO Selection Process will be based on Physical Efficiency Test & Practical Test (Trade Test) and Written Test.

• Store Keeper Technical – Pay scale Rs. 19,900/- to 63,200/- Level-2
• Multi Skilled Worker (Driver Engine Static) – Pay scale Rs. 18,000/- to 56,900/- Level-1 (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• Store Keeper Technical – 10 + 2 from a recognized Board or equivalent and Having store keeping knowledge relating to vehicles or engineering equipment. OR Having passed the Class II Course for Store man Technical as laid down in Defence Service Regulations.
• MSW (Driver Engine Static) – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing certificate of Mechanic Motor /Vehicles /Tractors. For more details Read Official Notification.
