Assam Agricultural University (AAU) is an agricultural education state university which was established in 1969 in Jorhat in the state of Assam, India. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the entire State of Assam with regard to teaching, research and extension education in the field of agriculture and allied sciences.

Assam Agricultural University (AAU) has released notification for filling up 17 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer (JE), Assistant Engineer (AE) & Various Posts.

• Assistant Registrar/Administrative Officer – 03 Posts
• Assistant Comptroller – 03 Posts
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 02 Post
• Junior Engineer(Civil/Electrical) – 03 Posts

AAU Selection Process will be based on interview.

Eligibility : –

• Superintending Engineer – Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized University or AMIE in Civil Engineering OR Minimum 12 years of service experience.
• Executive Engineer – Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or AIME (India) in Civil Engineering and 10 years experience of which at least 5 years experience in the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer in design OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of experience.
• Deputy Registrar (Personnel) – Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University with at least 10 years experience.
• Deputy Comptroller – Bachelor degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University with at least 10 years experience.
• Deputy Librarian – Master degree in Library and Information Science of a recognized University with knowledge of computer application OR Master’s degree or equivalent CGPA in Arts/Science/Commerce/Agriculture/Veterinary Science/Home Science with at least 2nd class Bachelor degree in Library Information Science from a recognized University.
• Assistant Registrar/Administrative Officer – Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University with at least 10 years experience of relevant field.
• Assistant Comptroller – Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University with 10 years in the line of Audit.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) – Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institution or AMIE in Civil or Diploma in the concerned field with at least 5 years professional Experience.
• Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) – 3 years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering from Govt recognized institution with 2-3 years Working experience. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 38 to 45 years As on 01/01/2021. (Read Official Notification)
