Border Roads Organisation (BRO) develops and maintains road networks in India’s border areas and friendly neighboring countries. Officers from the Border Roads Engineering Service (BRES) and personnel from the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF) form the parent cadre of the Border Roads Organisation. It is also staffed by officers and troops drawn from the Indian Army’s Corps of Engineers on extra regimental employment (on Deputation). Currently, the organisation maintains operations in twenty-one states, one UT (Andaman and Nicobar Islands), and neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka.

Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has released notification for filling up 449 vacancies for the post of Draughtsman, Store Keeper, MSW & Various Posts.

BRO Vacancy Details : –

• Draughtsman – 43 Posts
• Supervisor Store – 11 Posts
• Radio Mechanic – 04 Posts
• Lab Asst – 01 Post
• Multi Skilled Worker (Mason) – 100 Posts
• Multi Skilled Worker (Driver Engine Static) – 150 Posts
• Store Keeper Technical – 150 Posts

BRO Selection Process will be based on Physical Efficiency Test & Practical Test (Trade Test) and Written Test.

Eligibility : –

• Draughtsman – 10+2 with Science Subjects from a recognized Board and Having two years Certificate in Architecture or Draughtsmanship from a recognized Institute.
• Supervisor Store – Degree from a recognized University or equivalent and Possessing certificate in Material Management or Inventory Control or Stores Keeping from a recognized institution.
• Radio Mechanic – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Radio Mechanic Certificate from Industrial Training Institute with two years experience as Radio Mechanic in a Government, Public or Private Sector enterprises or Defence Trade Certificate from an army Institute or similar establishment of Defence with two year experience in Radio Technology.
• Lab Asst – 10+2 from a recognized Board and Laboratory Assistant Certificate issued by Industrial Training Institute or a recognized Institute.
• MSW – Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing certificate of Building construction/Bricks Mason.
• Store Keeper Technical – 10+2 from a recognized Board and Having store keeping knowledge relating to vehicles or engineering equipment. For more details Read Official Notification.
