Nagaland University is a Central University established in the state of Nagaland by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India in 1989. It is headquartered at Lumami, Zunheboto. Two other permanent campuses are at Kohima (Merima) and Medziphema. Also there is a temporary campus in Dimapur where B.Tech courses are offered.

Nagaland University has released notification for filling up 07 vacancies for the post of Finance Officer, Deputy Director of Sports, Nursing Officer, Professional Assistant & Senior Technical Assistant.

Nagaland University Selection Process will be based on Written test/ Interview.

Salary : –

• Finance Officer – Pay scale Rs. 1,44,200/- to 2,18,200/-
• Deputy Director of Sports – Pay scale Rs. 79,800/- to 2,11,500/-
• Nursing Officer – Pay scale Rs. 44,900/- to 1,42,400/-
• Professional Assistant – Pay scale Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-
• Senior Technical Assistant – Pay scale Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• Finance Officer – A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent.
• Deputy Director of Sports – A Ph.D in Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science. Candidates from outside the University System, in addition shall also possess at least 55% marks.
• Nursing Officer – GNM/Diploma from a Government recognized Institute in any field of Nursing having 2years experience as Staff Nurse.
• Professional Assistant – B.Lib/BLI.Sc.with 5 (five) years experience as semi professionals Assistant. Proficiency in Computer Application.
• Senior Technical Assistant – PG in the concerned subject with 2 years experience in the line. For more details Read Official Notification.
