The broad objective of the National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research (NCDIR), Bengaluru, are to sustain and develop a national research data-base on cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases (CVD), and stroke through recent advances in electronic information technology with a national collaborative network, so as to undertake aetiological, epidemiological, clinical and control research in these areas.

National Centre For Disease Informatics And Research (NCDIR) has released notification for filling up 15 vacancies for the post of Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate & Various Post.

• Project Admin Assistant – Pay scale Rs. 32,000/- Per Month.

• Project Scientist-B (Medical) – Pay scale Rs. 68,875/- Per Month.

Eligibility : –

• Computer Programmer – Master degree in computer application from a recognized institution/ university OR BE/B.Tech in computer engineering with 02 years experience.
• Research Associate-II – MD/MS and MDS or equivalent DNB Medicine and hospital administration and other relevant discipline OR Ph.D in biostatistics/ statistics with one research paper in (SCI) journal.
• Computer Programmer (Grade-B) – Master degree in computer application from a recognized institution/ university OR BE/B.Tech in computer engineering with 02 years experience.
• Project Scientist-B (Medical) – MBBS degree with 01 year research/teaching experience OR MD/MS in community medicine from a recognized university OR MBBS with (MPH) 02 years.
• Project Admin Assistant – Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with 05 years experience.
• Computer Programmer (Grade-B) – Master degree in computer application from a recognized institution/ university OR BE/B.Tech in computer engineering with 02 years experience.
• Computer Programmer (Grade-B) – Master degree in computer application from a recognized institution/ university OR BE/B.Tech in computer engineering with 02 years experience in relevant areas of programming or information system in a government autonomous, PSU etc. recognized organizations.
• Project Scientist-B (Medical) – MBBS degree with 01 year research/teaching experience OR MD/MS in community medicine from a recognized university OR MBBS with (MPH) 02 years.
• Project Scientist-C (Non-Medical) – Master’s degree statistics/biostatistics/epidemiology from a recognized university with 04 years experience OR Ph.D in biostatistics/statistics with one research paper in (SCI) journal.
• Research Associate-I – Ph.D in statistics/public health with one research paper in (SCI) journal OR MBBS with MPH/MAE/M.Sc epidemiology or public health.
• Senior Research Fellow – MSW Degree in holder’s with 02 years research experience OR MBBS/ BDS, ME/M.Tech (IT/Computer Science) degree holders.
• Computer Programmer (Grade-B) – Master degree in computer application from a recognized institution/ university OR BE/B.Tech in computer engineering with 02 years experience.
• Research Associate-I – Ph.D in statistics/public health with one research paper in (SCI) journal OR MBBS with MPH/MAE/M.Sc epidemiology or public health. For more details Read Official Notification.
