National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC Limited) is an Indian Hydropower generation company that was incorporated in the year 1975 with an authorised capital of Rs. 2000 million and with an objective to plan, promote and organise an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects. Later on NHPC expanded its objects to include other sources of energy like Solar, Geothermal, Tidal, Wind etc.

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has released notification for filling up 173 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer, Sr. Accountant, Senior Medical Officer & Assistant Rajbhasha.

• Senior Medical Officer – 13 Posts
• Assistant Rajbhasha Officer – 07 Posts
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – 68 Posts
• Junior Engineer (Electrical) – 34 Posts
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical) – 31 Posts
• Sr. Accountant – 20 Posts

NHPC Selection Process will be based on Computer Based Test.

• Senior Medical Officer – Pay scale Rs. 60,000/- to 1,80,000/-
• Assistant Rajbhasha Officer – Pay scale Rs. 40,000/- to 1,40,000/-
• Junior Engineer (Civil) – Pay scale Rs. 29,600/- to 1,19,500/-
• Junior Engineer (Electrical) – Pay scale Rs. 29,600/- to 1,19,500/-
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical) – Pay scale Rs. 29,600/- to 1,19,500/-
• Sr. Accountant – Pay scale Rs. 29,600/- to 1,19,500/- (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• Senior Medical Officer – MBBS Degree with valid registration and Two years’ post Internship experience.
• Assistant Rajbhasha Officer – Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level or Master’s degree from a recognized Indian University in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level.
• JE (Civil) – Full time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt/ Govt recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. Knowledge of Auto CAD will be an added advantage.
• JE (Electrical) – Full time regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Govt/ Govt recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. Knowledge of Auto CAD will be an added advantage.
• JE (Mechanical) – Full time regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Govt/ Govt recognized Institutes with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. Knowledge of Auto CAD will be an added advantage.
• Sr. Accountant – Intermediate CA or CMA. Pass. For more details Read Official Notification.
