Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released notification for the post of Stenographer Grade “C” and “D”.

SSC Selection Process will be based on Computer Based Examination) and Skill Test.

Eligibility : –

Stenographer Grade C – Candidates must passed in 12th standard and candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 100 word per minute (w.p.m).
Transcription time –

• English 50 minutes
• Hindi : 65 minutes

Stenographer Grade D – Candidates must passed 12th standard and candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 80 w.p.m.
Transcription time –

• English 40 minutes
