The Department of Posts (DoP), trading as India Post, is a government-operated postal system in India under the Department of Posts, which is part of the Ministry of Communications of the Government of India. Generally called “the post office” in India, it is the most widely distributed postal system in the world.

Telangana Postal Circle has released notification for filling up 1150 vacancies for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS).

• EWS – 130 Posts
• OBC – 279 Posts
• PWD-A – 09 Posts
• PWD-B – 14 Posts
• PWD-C – 15 Posts
• SC – 154 Posts
• ST – 65 Posts

Telangana Postal Circle Selection Process will be based on Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection.

Eligibility : – Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.
