Border Security Force (BSF) is the primary border defence organisation of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India, it was raised in the wake of the 1965 War on 1 December 1965, “for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected there with”. It is a Central Armed Police Force charged with guarding India’s land border during peacetime and preventing transnational crime.

Border Security Force (BSF) has released notification for filling up 90 vacancies for the post of Inspector (Architect), Sub Inspector (Works) & Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical).

BSF Vacancy Details : –

• Inspector (Architect) – 01 Post
• Sub Inspector (Works) – 57 Posts
• Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical) – 32 Posts

BSF Selection Process will be based on Written Exam. Checking of Testimonials/documents, Measurement of Physical Standard (PST) & Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

• Inspector (Architect) – Pay scale Rs. 44,900/- to 1,42,400/- Level-7
• Sub Inspector (Works) & Junior Engineer/Sub Inspector (Electrical) – Pay scale Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- Level-6 (Read Official Notification)

Eligibility : –

• Sub Inspector (Works) – Pass Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Government.
• Sub Inspector (Electrical) – Pass Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments
• Inspector (Architect) – Degree in architecture from a recognized University or Institution and Registered with Council of Architecture under Architects Act, 1972. For more details Read Official Notification.
