Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), formerly University of Roorkee and Thomason College of Civil Engineering, is a public engineering university located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Established in 1847 in British India by the then lieutenant governor, Sir James Thomason, it is the oldest technical institution in Asia. It was given university status in 1949 and was converted into an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in 2001, thus becoming the seventh IIT to be declared. IIT Roorkee has 21 academic departments covering Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences and Management programs with a strong emphasis on scientific and technological education and research.

IIT Roorkee Selection Process will be based on Tire -I (Written test) & Tire-II (Typing Test/Skill Test).

• Pharmacist – Pay scale Rs. 29,200/- to 92,300/- Level -5
• Junior Assistant – Pay scale Rs. 21,700/- to 69,100/- Level -3
• Junior Lab Assistant – Pay scale Rs. 21,700/- to 69,100/- Level -3

Eligibility : –

• Junior Superintendent – Master Degree/Bachelor Degree with 02 years of experience.
• Junior Technical Superintendent – M.Sc. in Electronics/Computer Science/ Chemistry/Physics or BE/ B.Tech. in Electronics/Computer Science/ Electrical/Civil/Mechanical or B.Sc. in (Physics/Chemistry/ Mathematics) / Electronics / Comp.Science with 02 years of experience.
• Junior Superintendent Rajbhasha – Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English a subject at Bachelor Degree level or Post Graduation in English with Hindi as a compulsory subject at degree level with 01 years of experience.
• Assistant Security Officer – Graduate and 04 years of experience and Military or NCC.
• Coach – Bachelor Degree in Physical Education with Diploma in Coaching from NIS.
• Junior Assistant – Bachelor Degree with knowledge of computer office application.
• Junior Lab Assistant – Bachelor Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/ Computer Science or Diploma in Engineering.
• Pharmacist – 10+2 with Science and Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy and must be registered as Pharmacist.
• Driver Grade II – 10+2 pass with HMV/LMV Licence and 03 years of experience. For more details Read Official Notification.
