Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) is a joint-defence service training institution of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of India. It trains officers of all three services of the Indian Armed Forces – (Indian Military Service, Indian Naval Service, Indian Airforce Service), selected officers from the Paramilitary forces and the Civil Services and officers from friendly foreign countries for command and staff appointments.

Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) has released notification for filling up 83 vacancies for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Stenographer, Driver & Various Posts.

DSSC Vacancy Details : –

• Stenographer Grade II – 04 Posts
• Lower Division Clerk – 10 Posts
• Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) – 07 Posts
• Sukhani – 01 Post
• Carpenter – 01 Post
• Multi Tasking Staff (Office and Training) – 60 Posts

DSSC Selection Process will be based on Written Test & Skill/Physical Test.

Eligibility : –
Stenographer –

• 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Skill Test Norms : Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute
• Transcription : 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (On Computer).

Lower Division Clerk –

• 12th Class pass from a recognized Board or University; and
• Skill Test: A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (Time allowed – 10 minutes).

Civilian Motor Driver –

• 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• Must possess the civilian driving license for heavy vehicles.
• Two years experience from a recognized Organisation or Undertaking in driving heavy vehicles.

Sukhani –

• 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University;
• Certificate in swimming from a recognized Organisation or Undertaking.

Carpenter –

• 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and Two years experience from a recognized Organisation or Undertaking in the trade. OR Industrial Training Institute Pass Certificate as Carpenter from a recognised institute and Two years experience.

Multi Tasking Staff –

• Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institute. For more details Read Official Notification.

Age Limit : – Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 27 years As on 22/05/2021. (Read Official Notification)
